Sacred Maskwa

CA$525.00

This original 24-inch square acrylic painting on a gallery wrapped canvas is meant to radiate the strength, wisdom, and spirit of the bear (Maskwa in Cree). The aura of the grizzly is conveyed through vibrant greens and rich golden hues, creating an energy that feels both grounded and ethereal. A dreamcatcher adorned with symbolic feathers speaks to the sacred connection between the spiritual realm and this powerful guardian of the natural world.

The transmission of spiritual energy flows from the feathers—beginning as small points and expanding outward—symbolizing the spreading of protection, intuition, and ancestral presence.

Look closely at his eyes. From the moment I began painting, they’ve looked straight through me. There’s a calming, watchful presence in him, and I’ve felt it guiding me with every brushstroke.

Painted extends to the sides. Signed and sealed with isolation layer and high-gloss varnish for protection and vibrancy. Ready to hang.
