Art has been the luminous thread woven through every chapter of my life. Born with a physical disability, my early years of rehabilitation became an unexpected gateway into creativity. Through art, I discovered both expression and resilience — a language beyond limitation.

My practice explores themes of nature, nostalgia, and wildlife, translating the felt experience of the land into layered fields of pigment and abstraction. I am drawn to the space where memory and landscape intersect, where wildness and tenderness coexist. Through atmospheric veils, organic mark-making, and dissolving edges, my work invites viewers into a sensory dialogue with the natural world.

As a Métis artist, my Indigenous roots inform both my perspective and my process. Connection to land, lineage, and lived experience shape the emotional undercurrent of each piece. These influences are not ornamental, but embedded — guiding how I see, layer, and respond.

Working across paper, canvas, and reclaimed wood, I embrace materials that carry history and texture. Each surface becomes a collaborator in telling stories of growth, resilience, and belonging.

Art remains a profound gift in my life — a way to share what lives in my heart and to create spaces where others may recognize something of their own. I invite you to explore my art by category and to contact me if you are interested in an available piece.
